Saint Petersburg in 1 Day

The Hermitage Museum

Discover one of the largest art museums in the world. It is the former residence of the Russian Royal Family. It’s collection contains over 3 million works of fine art.

Location: 2, Palace square ("Dvortsovaya ploshad’). Metro “Admiralteyskaya”.
Open: 10:30 - 18:00, Wed and Fri 10:30 - 21.00. Closed: Monday

Palace Square

The central city square of St. Petersburg and of the former Russian Empire. Many significant events took place there, including the Bloody Sunday massacre and parts of the October Revolution of 1917.

Have a pleasing dinner on the main street of St. Petersburg.

The Kazan Cathedral

The main Orthodox church of the city.

House of Books

House of Books (also known as Singer House) is a richly decorated building erected in the Art Nouveau style. There you can shop for travel guide books in different languages, books by Russian authors in English and a wide range of cute postcards and souvenirs.

Savior on the Spilled Blood Church

It’s one of the most impressive and beautiful buildings in St. Petersburg. Russian Emperor Alexander II was assassinated on this place. Later, the church was built to commemorate his memory.

Square of Arts & Russian Museum

The museum houses the biggest collection of Russian art of X-XXI centuries.

Russian Food on Malaya Sadovaya Street

Enjoy this lovely pedestrian street with its cafes, terraces and fountains.
There you can try Russian traditional food in Soviet Union design style interior.

The Catherine Garden

Have a look at the monument to Catherine the Great, Russian empress who wasfamous not only for performing wise governmental improvements, but for having acountless army of lovers. You will also see the Alexander Theatre (one of the oldestin Russia).

Anichkov Bridge

Cross the bridge over Fontanka river. It is famous for the beautiful sculpture group “The Horse Tamers”.
